Another Classic Car Find

This was another "Barn Find" although this example was stored in a dry garage for over 40 years.

The appropriate registration number 'VEE 12J' was with the car. This was a matching numbers car and still in its original colour scheme, as confirmed by the Heritage Certificate in the paperwork we obtained.

The engine was found to turn over freely, so the fuel system and tank were cleaned, new spark plugs, oil and filter fitted, along with a new starter motor and - hey presto- she started straight away with excellent oil pressure. The brake system was gone through, fresh fluid bled into the system, and all transmission fluids refreshed.

The car drove superbly and was a totally original example with no obvious welding anywhere, all original panels and floors, and good quality panel gaps throughout.

This remarkable survivor ripe for a full restoration and will become an outstanding example of the marque when finished.

This Series 3 V12 E-type was soon snapped up "As Is" by one of our customers with the purpose of fully restoring this very rare English find to its former glory
